My Bookish Month of March 2019

Happy Sunday, fellow book dragons! I’ve been wondering where March had got to, and then I made the lists below, and now I know ? Another busy month, with lots of prepping for the many blog tours I’m on next month (I might have a very small, teensy-weensy problem with saying “no”, I definitely have massive FOMO when it comes to books, which is weird because I have little to no FOMO in real life, but well, what can you do? – shrugs and moves on). Take a look at what I’ve done this month, and what you can expect from me next month:

What I read (full novels):

Nobody’s Wife, Laura Pearson
A Boy and His Dog at the End of the World, C.A. Fletcher (review on the tour next month!)
Two Can Keep A Secret, Karen McManus
Crow’s Cottage (Where The Dead Walk 2), John Bowen (review on the tour next month!)
The Dangerous Kind, Deborah O’Connor (review to follow)
The Beautiful Side of the Moon, Leye Adenle (review on the tour next month!)
The Killer in Me (Frankie Sheehan 2), Olivia Kiernan (review on the tour next month!)
The Girl Across the Street, Vikki Patis
The Dollmaker, Nina Allan
The Passengers, John Marrs (review on the tour next month!)
After the Green Withered, Kristin Ward (review will be live tomorrow!)
The Silver Road, Stina Jackson
Past Life, Dominic Nolan
Now You See Her, Heidi Perks

What I read (novellas):

Tainted Love (Soho Noir #1), T.S. Hunter (review on the tour next month!)

What I read (graphic novels):

A Walk Through Hell Volume 1, Garth Ennis
The Walking Dead – Compendium 1 Chapter 1 &2, Robert Kirkman
Man-Eaters, Vol. 1, Chelsea Cain
Hellicious Vol. 1, Mina Elwell

What I listened to:

Maria in the moon, Louise Beech (review to follow)
Inborn, Thomas Enger (review to follow)
Slayer (Slayer 1), Kiersten White
Playing With Death, Simon Scarrow

What I read earlier but reviewed this month:

A Testament to Murder, Vivian Conroy
The Grey Ones: Book 1 of the Path of the Maiden Series, Yvonne J. Smit
The Girl Next Door, Phoebe Morgan
Where She Lies (Detective Finnegan Beck Book 1), Michael Scanlon
Murder on the Rocks (Jordan Jenner Mysteries, #1), J.S. Strange
Someone Like Me, M. R. Carey
Changeling, Matt Wesolowski

This month I also stacked my shelves with the contents of my very first Fairyloot box, I shared some music on the Mondays (AC/DC, Janelle Monae) and I waited on the Wednesdays with Orenda Books & Ruth Ware.

It’s been a ridiculously good month in terms of reading so choosing a book of the month is once again a tough choice. Maria in the Moon? The Passengers? In the end I chose A Boy and His Dog at the End of the World, but like last month, it’s not a landslide victory; in truth you should read all three, in their genre they’re the best!

Hope you had a lovely month filled with books! Here’s to a whole new month of happy reading!
