Stacking the Shelves: Fairyloot Unboxing

Hello and welcome to my second edition of Stacking the Shelves!

Stacking the Shelves is originally hosted by Tynga’s Reviews & Reading Reality and is all about sharing your new book haul. A few weeks ago I talked about my #Fahrenbruary book haul, today, I’m sharing not just the book, but almost as important: the bookish goodies I’ve stacked my shelves with.

This Fairyloot box was my first book box ever. I stumbled over Fairyloot on Twitter, saw that the February theme was “Beast and Beauty” and so I had to have this box: Beauty and the Beast was my favourite Disney movie when I was little – to be fair, it still is (although I have to admit that The Little Mermaid has always been a strong contender too) – and to boot February is my birth month, no better time to gift myself some pressies! (Let’s just ignore the fact that one month later I ordered the March Fairyloot box too, OK)

Without further ado, here’s what I found in my Beast and Beauty box:

I’m using the dish in my bathroom for hair pins and some earrings, love it! I’ve not yet used my tumbler, but I can totally see myself sipping from it in my garden on a warm summer’s day. I stuck the bookplate in the book. The pin and the print will get a spot somewhere in my book nook, but I haven’t found the ideal spot yet. I’m not a fan of the perfume so I’m not sure what I’ll do with that. Besides the book, what I’m deliriously happy with is the tapestry. This photo doesn’t do it justice at all, it’s bloody brilliant! Unfortunately, it’s also bloody large, which makes finding a nice spot to display it rather difficult. I want to put it somewhere in my book nook, so I can look up from the book I’m reading and admire it, but so far I’ve not been very successful in finding the ideal spot!

Besides the bookish goodies there was of course also a book in this book box and it’s the one I suspected and hoped it would be, so yay!

This is a gorgeous blue hardback with a silver ribbon bookmark and the dust jacket has a silver holographic spine!

So what do you think, would you be happy with this box? Or have you tried other boxes that you think I might like? Let me know below!
