Hi and welcome to another monthly overview!
August was a brilliant month in every way! We had a blissful three-week summer holiday, with fantastic weather throughout. We did lots of fun things and there was also plenty of time for me to spend reading in the garden. It was perfection!
Book-wise, August was brilliant too! I cheated and signed the hubby up for a Storytel trial period when mine ended, which he won’t be using but I am making good use of 😳😂 Still, I managed to read quite a few older books on my TBR, which made me ridiculously happy. I had a few duds but I enjoyed most of what I read, and I think I broke all personal records when it comes to page count.
These were my favourite reads of the month:

In figures, August looks like this:

Glad you had a great summer holiday. Hope the kittens didn’t get up to too much mischief!! It will be their first winter outside coming up, lots of mud to traipse around the house….LOL!!

You were so lucky in August, you really didn’t have to go abroad this year to enjoy great weather. And you read A Man Called Ove, and liked it, yay! Let’s hope September will be a good month too!
I know, we chose the very best weeks 😄 I did, thank you for that Ove nudge 😉 Have a great month, Inge!
We Are All Guilty Here is definitely one of my favorites for the month.
