Stacking the Shelves: FairyLoot Unboxing – October box

Hi and welcome to the unboxing of the FairyLoot October box! The October theme is Wicked Hearts, which I found very intriguing! I wasn’t hugely excited about the announced fandoms but as the featured book sounded amazing I decided I definitely wanted this box. I’m incredibly happy with that decision, not so much for the goodies, although I do like them more than I thought I would, but for the drop dead gorgeous book. Let’s have a look!

I love the salt and pepper shakers inspired by the featured book, the enamel pin inspired by The Young Elites and the lovely bookish socks inspired by Castlevania! The foiled playing cards are gorgeously illustrated and make me want to learn more card games. The bookish puzzle inspired Caraval is such a fun edition to this box, and my least favourite goodie this month is the collection of Star Wars stickers.

But the reason why I’m dead chuffed with this October box, is this beauty right here: Kingdom of the Wicked by Kerri Maniscalco, a story set in Italy, with witches, demons, romance and a deadly mystery, I can’t wait to read this! FairyLoot absolutely knocked it out of the park! The dust jacket is eerily beautiful and the naked hardcover has a stunning foil design, it’s truly incredible.

It also has artwork on the reverse of the dust jacket, a printed signature on the title page, a signed bookplate and an exclusive bonus chapter! But the very best thing about it are the stencil & sprayed edges, they are a thing of beauty and I just want to stare at them forever!

And this is the whole loot:

And that’s a wrap! Thanks for joining me today! Would you be happy with this box, is Kingdom of the Wicked on your TBR? Let me know below!
