My Bookish Month of September 2019

Hello and welcome to another monthly overview!

It didn’t really feel like a very busy bookish month, but when I look at the lists below, I kind of wonder how I did anything but read πŸ˜„ I listened to more audiobooks than I normally do, but one was just a short story, and two others weren’t very long either, and I also spent an exorbitant amount of time gardening and clearing out the vegetable patch in the great company of Margaret Atwood 😊

Anyhoo, here’s what I did last month, and some of what I’ll be posting this month, now that #Orentober is finally here:

What I read earlier but reviewed this month:

Noirville, anthology collected by Chris McVeigh
Invisible Blood, short story collection edited by Maxim Jakubowski
A Different Time by Michael K. Hill
House of Salt and Sorrows, Erin A. Craig
Sea Witch Rising (Sea Witch #2), Sarah Henning

This month I also had a few Music Mondays: I featured Ho Hey x2 and Mad About You. I shared an excerpt from In the Absence of Miracles by Michael J. Malone, and I did the Finally Fall Book Tag. I also did two FairyLoot unboxing posts: the August box and the September box.

And my book of the month? Once again I can’t choose πŸ™ˆ I’m starting to think I read too much and too many great books at that! Here’s two that have stuck with me perhaps a teeny tiny bit more than the others:

Thanks for joining me today! I’m off on a manic month with #Orentober, and I will be doing some #Spooktober reading too. I won’t be reviewing much of what I read in September, but if you want to know more, give me a wave! Was September a good bookish month for you too? Let me know below! And as always: happy reading!
