Hi and welcome to another monthly overview!
After a rough September and an even rougher October, I really needed November to be kind to me, and fortunately, it was. My dad received the best news regarding his health, and even though November was a busy month with lots of appointments and obligations, I made it through in one piece, and without feeling overly knackered. It did help that I had a few days off to recover, not just physically, but also mentally/emotionally.
Book-wise, November was a mixed bag. I read way more than I did in October, and I did thoroughly enjoy some anticipated reads that I’d had high expectations for, which is always a relief. However, in an effort to absolutely nail my geography challenge this year (i.e. to visit as many countries and all the US States through books), I went the extra mile, reading a couple… some might say “obscure” books… That turned out to be obscure for a reason 😬😂 Well, in any case I did broaden my horizons considerably in November, stay tuned for the map in my yearly stats post next month/year!

Glad you had a better month and your Dad has received good news!! I always meant to read In Cold Blood by Truman Capote and have never got around to it!! That wasn’t one of the obscure books, surely???? Hope you’ve shown the kittens some videos of snow and ice just so they know what to expect LOL!!
Thank you! No, Capote isn’t one of the obscure books… That doesn’t mean I liked it, though 🙈 We’ve had a bit of snow and ice… They were not impressed 😂

Thanks Yvonne 💜 It does take quite a bit of effort doesn’t it, trying to travel the world through books 😅 I’m not going to do the challenge next year (although I will still keep track, obviously 😉) so I wanted to go all out this year 😂
