What book would you like to find under the tree this year?
Honestly, I much prefer vouchers, but if I were to find a book under the tree, I wouldn’t complain if it was this one. Although I haven’t loved this author’s other books as much as Bullet Train, I’m still exited about the most recent addition to the series.
What is the best book you have ever received for Christmas?
I have never received any books for Christmas but this year, I have pre-ordered one for my own Christmas😂 I don’t know if it’ll be the best book ever but those spredges will surely help!
What book gives you all the Christmas feels?
Honourable mention to Dickens’s A Christmas Carol, but when I take into account not only the original story but the retellings as well, it has to be The Nutcracker that has made me feel slightly less bah humbug the most.
What book do you plan on reading to put you in the Christmas spirit this year?
Not quite a retelling of The Nutcracker, but probably inspired by it, I really loved The Toymakers this year.
What book have you read this year that you would like to throw out with the Christmas tree after the holidays?
Books are not for throwing out, even if I did struggle with them. Just like Eva, I’m skipping this one.
What is a book from this year that you would like to place under a friend’s tree?
There’s TJ Klune again. I reread the first this year and I read the second, and they are truly magical, which I think is something we all need every once in a while.
Challenge: Create a stack of books in which the spines alternate green and red!
I didn’t even think I had any red or green books, but look at that! All TBR, except The Betrayal of Thomas True, which I finished today and would highly recommend.

I hadn’t either but I spotted it on Instagram and it said that the first UK edition would have spredges so obviously I ran to preorder it 😂
