🌞 My 20 books of summer 2020 😎 #20booksofsummer20

Hi and welcome to my 20 Books of Summer challenge! As most, if not all, of you will know, this challenge is hosted by Cathy at 746 books. Check out her post here and link up here if you want to join in.

I’ve made a selection of books I have to read for blog tours, books from NetGalley and books from my own TBR. Note that I will publish the reviews of some these as late as September and October (Cathy promised to be lenient 😉), although I will be writing them in summer, you’ll just have to take my word for it! Full disclosure: I might not review all the books from my own TBR, or resort to bite-sized reviews, I’ve been struggling for the better part of this year so no pressure, it’s more like I really want to read them this summer, and if I’m feeling really uninspired and not in the mood to review them, I won’t force myself. We’ll see how it goes, one day and one book at a time 😊

The blog tour selection:

1. The First Lie, A. J. Park
2. The Trials of Koli (The Rampart Trilogy Book 2), M. R. Carey
3. The Witch House, Ann Rawson
4. The Bone Shard Daughter, Andrea Stewart

The NetGalley selection:

5. One by One, Ruth Ware
6. A Ruined Girl, Kate Simants
7. The Resident, David Jackson
8. Alpha Omega, Nicolas Bowling

My own TBR – the Orenda Books selection in preparation of #Orentober:

9. Welcome to the Heady Heights, David F. Ross
10. We Were the Salt of the Sea, Roxanne Bouchard
11. Epiphany Jones, Michael Grothaus
12. Faithless, Kjell Ola Dahl
13. Hinton Hollow Death Trip, Will Carver

My own TBR, among which 3 audiobooks, and one novel that due to its size gave me cold feet last year so I’ve added it to motivate myself to finally pick it up:

14. His & Hers, Alice Feeney
15. Magpie Lane, Lucy Atkins
16. The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes, Suzanne Collins
17. The Minders, John Marrs
18. Dead Wrong, Noelle Holten
19. The Southern Book Club’s Guide to Slaying Vampires, Grady Hendrix
20. The Priory of the Orange Tree, Samantha Shannon

What do you think? Any of these you’re planning on reading as well? Have you signed up too? Let’s chat! And read. A lot 😬 Wish me luck, especially with that no. 20!
